The sharp sword
The forest burned from the fire of the battle. I was lucky and escaped with only a broken sword. Our enemy, Gilbert had previously been disarming our front line but we had caught them at it. I had rushed my soldiers into battle. It was a hard fight but fortunately we won. Our army is not the largest so we have to train our soldiers to perfection. That is why all our weaponry is always damaged.

I've heard of an old trusty blacksmith who lived nearby. So I ordered a army of warriors to have their weapons fixed but I had a funny feeling that the blacksmith
So we hide in a suit of armour. Unfortunately we rattled it a bit too much and it fell over. My saddle mouse was flung onto the blacksmiths nose. I had secured myself with a place to appear from and introduce my army. At first he muttered something about going crazy but as soon as my sword was seen, we were away I was very fascinated about it all. My sword came out glamorise so I Ordered him to fix all all of my army's weapons. He seem pretty chuffed about it all.

The Blacksmith

“Why am I doing this. I am no use to anyone. I am a sloth,”

Work is getting a lot harder in my old years. I hit a sword on a metal bench “ahhh my back,” so much pain. I am getting so weak. A sound came from my metal iron armor. It started rattling it rolled off to my feet.

Out crawled a in mouse and the tiny crusader jumped off the top shelf. “Would you please fix my sword.” he tiny crusader said. Finally work for me. After all these years I can do something useful in my life.

The tiny crusader handed the sword over to me I went to get little scraps of metal and started mending together.

I handed it back to the tiny crusader. It was the best day of my life . He said “well your job is not done yet “ with a massive smile on my face. I am actually useful to someone.

Lochlan's camp writing

Cold kayaking

Oh it was the most freezing thing, the chill shot up my spine like a bullet.
After a while I got used to it, when we had sorted ourselves we started to play
“Follow the leader”
Justin and I waded around the buoys and were soon finished.
Our instructor told us we were doing well soon started to play another game called gun-up.We were in for the first round, I like it a lot but the wind made it really hard for us to paddle across the harbour.
Never-the-less,we got everyone in.
I think that kayaking was the best activity at camp.
